Alternatively for organisations that have in house support resources Portal Constructor is available with a maintenance only contract.

Low Cost Hardware Requirement
Portal Constructor does not require expensive computer horsepower for either the server or user's PC. MKWeb was hosted until recently on a Pentium 2 330mhz PC yet reliably delivered over 350,000 page impressions a month. Any PC or laptop that can run I.E. 4 or above is suitable for a 'Weblet owner'.
Outright licence, Rental or ASP
To suit different requirements and budgets Portal Constructor is available in various offerings.
For a large multi portal application that needs all functionality modules with an increased number of 'owners' then the unlimited server licence version is applicable.
For smaller local authorities where there will be fewer owners then Portal Constructor/LA version should be selected.
If an 'application service provision' (ASP) model is preferred this is also available as Portal Constructor On Line. This is the ultimate 'outsource' route as there is no need for any in house resource, not even a server. Everything is set up and ready to run for just a single monthly fee.
Hosting Option
For a server licence the software can, of course, be run on a customer's own machine. Alternatively ADM will supply suitable hosting including content back up.
